Hi! I’m Alyssa, and I’m the owner and stylist of Slate Salon.

I’ve been doing hair professionally since 2013, after eight years as an elementary and middle school teacher at Annunciation School. I’m a mom of four daughters, which is as chaotic as it sounds. But when you’re here, I’ll make sure it’s not.

I love being a stylist, and I’m great at what I do. To me, hair is so much more than just hair—I love connecting with people, I love hearing about their lives, I love helping clients feel like their best selves.
